We believe that the CBPRLA Conference is a unique opportunity that the Assessment Coordinators (AC), or people who work in related areas at our campus, have to submit proposals for presentation related to assessment of student learning processes. In these paper presentations AC can present their progress towards establishing a culture of assessment at different levels (classroom, department, academic program), as part of the requirements for professional accreditation or related to their own research activities, as well as how findings have been used to improve teaching and learning.
Due to its nature, this conference allows us to demonstrate the multiple efforts that our academic community has carried out in order to assess students learning and plan accordingly educational activities geared towards strengthening this process. For this reason, the Deanship of Academic Affairs has offered to sponsor the cost of inscription ($100) for one paper presentation by two Assessment Coordinators interested in participating at this conference.
Those interested in being considered for the incentive to participate in this conference must send us the completed Presentation Proposal Form presented on description of the conference by Wednesday, December 12. Furthermore, all those interested must also send this document directly to the person in charge of the registration for the conference (ncheveres@collegeboard.org) by December 14 in order to participate.
